I have a new laptop coming with a wide screen. Resolution is 1440x900. NE1 know how windowblinds will react? Desktop X might be a problem because it seems to be resolution specific.

Windowblinds showed be fine, though specific skins that react to other changes like resolution or large fonts and icons may not look correct

Walls will probably stretch strangly. I can always bring them into PS and crop them though.
Desktop X and Logons will probably be screwed up though. It'll be interesting to see. Computer should be here tomorrow or thurs.

you will have to edit DX Themes for your resolution...
other than that the only thing I can see any problem with is Wall Papers will need editing for the most part.

My laptop has 1400x1050 WB is fine, but no hope yet for DX themes until they can at least auto resize the backgrounds

I run 1920X1200 on both my laptop and desktop at home and WC looks fine. You will definitely have problems with most of the wallpapers as the largest resolution I've ever seen here is 1600X1200. I get most of my wallpapers from the members gallery over at digitalblasphemy.com as he does widescreen renders of all of his work. As far as WB, I've only had problems with it on my laptop when I changed the DPI setting to anything above 96 DPI which is the default setting. With the setting at say 125 DPI there were problems with borders not matching up and all kinds of strange little problems, so I stick with 96 DPI and everything is fine. With DX I just don't use the themes, because they are never designed for resolutions I run, I just use the objects I like on the screen somewhere..

If it does strech the wallpapers too much, you could just crop them to your liking, as long as its for personal use only.
All wallpapers are usualy at 72dpi.

1280 x 800 as well, and I crop the wallpapers that look too weird in Photoshop.

Got the computer and WOW... WOW

1440 X 900 is perfect for PS. Windowblinds works great too. Walls are easily cropped with PS by presetting the crop size so thats no biggy.
